Our Story
The 88 Foundation was founded in March of 2023 by Hunter Strack & Shawn Moehring after the passing of their friend, Brody Barker, to suicide. Brody wore number 88 for the Columbia City High School Football Team, graduating in 2022. The goal of The 88 Foundation was to provide a judgment free platform for teens in Whitley County struggling with mental health. In March of 2024, Hunter & Shawn were gracious in letting us take the reins of The 88 Foundation.
